Overview

The Regional Sales Manager is accountable for the leadership of sales activity within an assigned region and prospective accounts. In this role the professional will define sales and business development strategies by securing new business wins through rapid account and product line growth and the servicing of key accounts, including OEMs and distributors within the assigned region:

          MidWest - MN, SD, ND, IA, Il, MO, IN

          Texas - Texas – TX, LA, OK, KS

 Job Responsibilities

  • Achieves sales targets through business development by working with customer engineering and                  purchasing staff to develop engineered product solutions,
  • Develops and implements an annual sales strategy to maximize sales concurrent with overall company        business strategy that successfully targets potential customers and applications within existing Nanshan      customers,
  • Provides detailed account, contact, and opportunity information within customer database to maintain      sales/program funnel for assigned accounts,
  • Prepares detailed customer presentations, business, and price proposal,
  • Coordinates sales forecast with appropriate sales, sales management, and operational personnel,
  • Prepares and maintain sales reports/call reports,
  • Solicits RFQ’s from targeted customer suited to company’s manufacturing capabilities,
  • Communicates the outcome of the negotiations/proposals focusing on conveying the account                       opportunity key details, critical timeframes and expectations,
  • Monitors and consistently increases customer satisfaction, to collect and continuously upgrade and               document customer intelligence using contact management in the area of processes used,
  • Aligns and communicates strategic and tactical plans to the organization as appropriate, resulting in          coordinated operations and sales efforts through the implementation of business development plans,
  • Works closely with all departments including operations, quality, technical and finance,
  • Maintains a continuous prospecting plan for designated market to secure positive sales and active                account growth,
  • Performs other required tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred,
  • Ability to think critically, solve problems, and adapt to change,
  • Five or more years of sales or related experience/Aluminum Extrusion sales experience preferred,
  • Must be organized with strong attention to detail,
  • Proven track record of personal accountability,
  • Effective working in team-based environment,
  • Innovative, self-driven, and have a strong ability to network remotely,
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the market, negotiate and close business deals,
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products,
